Arde Bogotá films new music video in Cartagena's submarine tunnels
The Spanish band Arde Bogotá has released a new music video for the song ‘El Club de la Gente Sola’, filmed in the historic submarine tunnels of El Espalmador in Cartagena. The video serves as the third preview for their upcoming album, ‘Manufacturas del Club de la Gente Sola’, which is set to be released on October 2.
Filming was facilitated by the Cartagena Film Office, an entity of the local City Council. The production, directed by Guillermo Aliaga with creative direction by Sabotage Propaganda, utilizes the industrial and mysterious setting of the naval tunnels to match the band's aesthetic.
Cartagena Mayor Noelia Arroyo noted that using such unique locations helps showcase the city's lesser-known heritage. The municipal government is working toward the broader goal of recovering naval heritage sites to enhance Cartagena's cultural and tourism sectors.
