Arde Bogotá releases new album recorded in Los Angeles

The Spanish rock band Arde Bogotá has released their third album, ‘Manufactura del club de la gente sola’ (MCGS). Recorded in Los Angeles with veteran American producer Joe Chiccarelli, the project marks a departure from their previous work, ‘Cowboys de la A3’.

According to lead singer Antonio García, the new album is darker and more raw, capturing “sad moments” and exploring themes of anxiety and distrust. The band sought to work with Chiccarelli to find a perspective outside the Spanish musical ecosystem. The recording process involved intense sessions in Los Angeles, aiming for high emotional delivery through rigorous work.

Musically, the band explored new textures, incorporating subtle influences from flamenco and local Cartagena sounds, such as handclaps and brass, without becoming a traditional ‘Andalusian rock’ band. The group aims to evolve their sound rather than repeating their previous successes.
