Ardea: Man arrested for attempted murder following stabbing

A 36-year-old man has been arrested for attempted murder following a violent confrontation in Tor San Lorenzo, Ardea. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM when a Ukrainian citizen visited the suspect's home to address a personal dispute involving unwanted attention directed toward the victim's mother.

The argument escalated rapidly, leading the homeowner to attack the visitor with a blade, striking him in the neck and arm. The victim was transported to Casa di Cura S. Anna in Pomezia in critical condition but is reported to be conscious and not in immediate life-threatening danger.

Carabinieri officers from Ardea, the local station, and the NORM of Anzio located the suspect in his apartment. Authorities seized a blood-stained knife from a kitchen sink that the suspect had attempted to wash to hide evidence. The individual was arrested and transferred to the Velletri prison.
