Stefan Mross' ‘Immer wieder sonntags’ ends with final 2026 season

German schlager TV show „Immer wieder sonntags", hosted by Stefan Mross, is concluding its 21‑year run in the 2026 summer season. The final episode airs on 12 July 2026, featuring guests such as Andy Borg, Alexander Rier, Volxrock, Frank Schöbel, Pia Malo, Sonia Liebing, Maximilian Arland, ZPUR, Romy Kirsch, TIMO and Milllionen, along with comedy sketches, the Summer Hit Parade and the Star Kitchen. The series began in 1995 and will air its last broadcast on 13 September 2026. Schlager legend Nicole, who appeared on the show, expressed disappointment over the cancellation and hopes for a future revival, noting budget cuts as the reason for the decision. Mross himself has also signaled willingness to negotiate a continuation with private broadcasters.
