Area Sanremo registration deadline extended to October 18

The Fondazione Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo has extended the registration deadline for Area Sanremo 2026 to Sunday, October 18, at 18:00. This extension aims to encourage wider participation from young artists seeking a path toward the 2027 Sanremo Festival.

Artistic proposals will be evaluated by a Musical Commission featuring seven experts, including artistic director Stefano De Martino, Claudio Fasulo, Fabio Volo, Carlo Pastore, Pino Perris, Noemi, and Ema Stokholma. The panel includes professionals from music, radio, production, and communication.

The initiative includes the Area Sanremo Music Week, offering workshops and masterclasses. Notably, the regulations strictly prohibit the use of artificial intelligence in composition and production where it would replace or alter human creativity, a measure intended to protect artisanal musical production.
