Arçelik opens €200 million washing machine plant in Manisa

Arçelik, a subsidiary of Koç Holding, has officially opened its new washing machine facility in the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone. The investment, valued at approximately €200 million, is expected to significantly boost industrial production and employment in the region.

The opening ceremony was attended by Manisa Governor Vahdettin Özkan, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Besim Dutlulu, Koç Holding Honorary Chairman Rahmi Koç, and Koç Holding Deputy Chairman Ali Koç. During the event, officials highlighted the facility's role in supporting national industrial strategies through innovation, R&D, and environmentally friendly production methods.

Mayor Besim Dutlulu emphasized the city's commitment to supporting investments that increase Manisa's production capacity and create jobs, stating that the municipality will continue to stand by industrialists and workers to shape the future of Turkey.
