Arellano University defeats UST in five-set V-League thriller

Arellano University maintained a perfect record in the V-League Collegiate Challenge after defeating the University of Santo Tomas in a five-set match at Gameville Central Park in Mandaluyong City. The Lady Chiefs secured a 25–21, 21–25, 31–33, 25–23, 15–13 victory, overcoming an 11–13 deficit in the final set.

Cris Servidad led Arellano with 25 points, including 19 kills and six blocks, while Heart Villaflores contributed 24 points. For UST, Angge Poyos recorded 23 points and seven digs in the loss, which brings the Golden Tigresses' record to 1–1.

In other tournament action, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA earned its first win by defeating San Beda University in four sets.
