Persib Bandung cuts Sergio Castel, Adam Przybek and Alfeandra Dewangga after title‑winning season

Persib Bandung announced the end of contracts with several players as part of a squad overhaul following its Super League 2025/26 title. Striker Sergio Castel Martinez, who made six league appearances and featured in two AFC Champions League matches, left the club after a mutual decision not to extend his short‑term deal. "Setelah berdiskusi dengan tim pelatih dan pihak Sergio, kedua belah pihak sepakat untuk tidak melanjutkan kerja sama pada musim berikutnya," Deputy CEO Adhitia Putra Herawan said.

Goalkeeper Adam Przybek, who featured only once in the league and did not play in continental competition, also departed by mutual consent. The club highlighted the need to give players space for career development, noting, "Setiap pemain tentu membutuhkan ruang dan kesempatan untuk terus berkembang."

Defender Alfeandra Dewangga transferred to Arema FC after one season, with the club thanking him for his contributions to the championship run. The departures accompany the release of other foreign players such as Layvin Kurzawa, Federico Barba and others, signalling a major reshuffle of the squad for the 2026/27 season.
