Aren Karadağ earns place at Ankara University through self-study

Aren Karadağ, a student from the Çemişgezek district of Tunceli, has gained recognition for his academic success after securing a place at Ankara University's Faculty of Political Sciences, commonly known as Mülkiye Mektebi.

Karadağ graduated as the top student of Çemişgezek Anatolian High School. He achieved this milestone through a self-disciplined study program, notably without the assistance of private tutoring or preparatory courses. A key component of his success was his decision to strictly limit his use of social media and mobile phones to maintain focus on his studies.

Reflecting on his preparation, Karadağ stated, ‘I preferred to charge my dreams, not my phone.’ His long-term professional ambitions include serving the public as a district governor or a provincial governor. He advises other students to use technology purposefully rather than letting it become a distraction.
