Arena das Dunas hosts record 50,000 people for Bote Fé com Maria

The Bote Fé com Maria religious event held at the Arena das Dunas in Natal drew an estimated 50,000 attendees on Saturday, setting a new historical attendance record for the stadium. Promoted by the Archdiocese of Natal, the gathering featured singer and priest Frei Gilson as the main attraction.

The event served as the official launch for the 2026 Feast of Our Lady of the Presentation. To support the celebration, organizers mobilized over 2,000 professionals and utilized a 360-degree stage to accommodate the crowd. Proceeds from the event are designated for the air conditioning project of the Metropolitan Cathedral, alongside a solidarity food drive.

To manage the large influx of people, the Municipal Secretariat of Urban Mobility (STTU) implemented special traffic operations, including road closures on Avenida Prudente de Morais, Avenida Lima e Silva, and Avenida Senador Salgado Filho. Authorities recommended that participants use public transportation, taxis, or ride-sharing services to mitigate congestion.
