Arenal Emevé begins preseason training amid Andorran league registration issues

Arenal Emevé is currently undergoing intensive preseason training to prepare for the 2026/27 season. Under the direction of Andrés Hurtado, the team is focusing on aerobic capacity and gym work while progressively integrating ball skills. Their preparation includes a series of matches, starting with a game against Sporting de Braga in the Xunta de Galicia International Tournament on September 6, followed by participation in the Legiao Tournament in Portugal.

In Andorran football, only five of the ten teams in the Lliga Multisegur have met the minimum requirement of 16 validated player registrations ahead of the upcoming season. Despite new regulations from the Andorran Football Federation designed to prevent previous administrative issues regarding residency permits, clubs are still struggling to finalize rosters. Teams such as Inter Escaldes, Atlètic Escaldes, and FC Santa Coloma have successfully met the requirements, as have newcomers Sporting Escaldes and Casa de Portugal.
