Arewa Consultative Forum appoints interim leadership in Kano

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) Kano State Chapter has appointed a three-member interim leadership team to manage its affairs following the resignation of Chairman Dr. Goni Faruk Umar. The outgoing chairman cited a busy schedule as the reason for his departure.

The interim team consists of Alhaji Isyaku Umar Tofa, Ambassador Bala Mohammed Sani, and Hajiya Rabia Husaini Adamu. The appointments were announced by retired General Haliru Akilu during a joint meeting of the ACF Board of Trustees and the chapter’s executive committee.

According to officials, the transition aims to resolve internal disagreements, promote reconciliation, and restore unity within the organization. The interim leaders will oversee operations for the remainder of the current executive committee’s tenure until a substantive chairman is elected.
