Arezzo and Genoa announce updates to youth football sectors
Italian football clubs Arezzo and Genoa Cricket and Football Club have announced updates regarding their youth sectors and academy structures.
Arezzo has officially defined its organizational and technical framework for its youth sector and football school. The structure spans from the Primavera 4 category down to basic activities, led by Francesco Serrapica as the head of the youth sector and Mickael Varutti as secretary. The announcement includes a complete list of technical staffs, including coaches, assistant coaches, fitness trainers, and goalkeeper coaches for various age groups such as Under 17, Under 16, and Under 15.
Genoa Cricket and Football Club has presented a new direction for its male youth sector, focusing on infrastructure, methodology, and human resources. The club is currently searching for a sports center suitable for its needs, prioritizing staying in Liguria while remaining open to other solutions. Work is also progressing on the second lot of the Badia di Sant’Andrea facility, which serves as the home for both the youth and women's sectors. The club's strategy emphasizes shared methodologies across all levels, specialized training, and a scouting system that prioritizes Ligurian talent alongside monitoring players in other regions and abroad.
