Arezzo strengthens squad with striker Cerri ahead of Serie B return
Arezzo, preparing for a return to Serie B, has completed several signings. Forward Alberto Cerri, released by Cesena, joined on a three‑year contract and is slated to be the main focal point in Cristian Bucchi’s 4‑3‑5 formation. Sporting director Nello Cutolo also added goalkeeper Nunziante, Argentine defender Julián Illanes and Colombian full‑back Yeferson Mena Martínez on loan from Parma.
The club still lacks a central midfielder to provide balance and rest key players, a gap highlighted by local commentary. The Serie B campaign is scheduled to begin on 22 August 2026, and the new arrivals are intended to give the side the depth needed for the long season.
