Arezzo Wave celebrates 40 years of music and talent scouting

The Arezzo Wave music festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary with an edition focused on the intersection of musical history and the development of new talent. The program, running from late September through October 4, includes concerts, professional training, and national contest finals.

A central component of this anniversary is the ‘ARÌA DI MUSICA – Arezzo Rock Italian Academy’ project. Supported by the Arezzo Wave Italy Foundation and the Tuscany Region, this initiative provides training, production, and performance opportunities for young artists aged 18 to 35. The project aims to use the festival's four decades of experience to support the next generation of musicians.

The festival's contest saw participation from over 900 bands and artists, resulting in 18 finalists who will perform at the Teatro Tenda. The event concludes on October 4 with a performance by the Modena City Ramblers.
