Arganil municipality launches youth professional and cultural initiatives

The Municipality of Arganil is launching several initiatives aimed at local youth. Through the new FICAJOVEM program, 30 residents aged 18 to 25 will be invited to participate in the organization of FICABEIRA, the 43rd Industrial, Commercial, and Agricultural Fair of Beira Serra. This five-day program, running from September 4 to 8, offers participants direct experience with event management, exhibitors, and local businesses to foster professional skills such as teamwork and problem-solving.

Additionally, the municipality recently held the Semana da Juventude to mark International Youth Day. The event brought together over 100 young people for a four-day program featuring music, outdoor cinema, adventure activities, and cultural excursions, including visits to Porto and the Serralves Foundation.
