Argeș County police investigate timber violations and missing person

Authorities in Argeș County, Romania, are conducting multiple operations involving forestry law enforcement and a missing person search.

Police from the Albota Rural Police Station reported two incidents of illegal timber transport. On September 11, a 42-year-old man was caught transporting cherry wood in a utility vehicle that exceeded the amount listed in his transport permit. Additionally, the SUMAL 2.0 application photos did not account for the entire load. On September 12, a 23-year-old man was intercepted in Albota for transporting wood without an active GPS receiver.

Separately, a large-scale search operation is underway for 47-year-old Andrei Florin Sădeanu, who went missing on September 11. The search involves police, gendarmes, firefighters, Salvamont Argeș, and volunteers. Sădeanu was last seen driving a black Suzuki Grand Vitara. He is described as approximately 1.85 m tall, weighing 83 kg, with chestnut hair and blue eyes.
