Argenta delivers first public housing unit under new management

The municipality of Argenta has delivered its first unit of public residential housing under a new management model. This reorganization, effective since July 1, aims to accelerate the assignment process for families on waiting lists by moving away from the previous management structure provided by Acer Ferrara.

The administration has set a target to deliver 30 housing units by the end of the year. To support this, the municipality has successfully applied to the Emilia-Romagna regional 'Piano Casa' for the renovation of six currently unusable properties. The regional plan provides 67 million euros in total funding, with a significant portion allocated to the Ferrara territory. Renovations will be managed directly by the Region, which will also oversee subsequent assignments at controlled rental rates.
