Argenteuil police dismantle €559,000 drug trafficking network

Police in Argenteuil have dismantled a drug trafficking network estimated to be worth over €559,000 following a year-long investigation. The operation, which concluded on August 3, 2026, resulted in the seizure of 31.3 kg of narcotics, including 700 g of cocaine, 13.86 kg of cannabis herb, and 3.36 kg of cannabis resin.

The investigation began in September 2025 after authorities discovered drugs during a tenant eviction. Over the following year, investigators utilized physical surveillance, telephone exploitation, and geolocation to map the criminal organization and its storage locations. In addition to the narcotics, police seized nearly €27,000 in cash, several vehicles, and related equipment. Four individuals were brought before the justice system.
