Judges Bertuzzi and Yadarola face Senate for key Federal Chamber posts

Judges Pablo Bertuzzi and Pablo Yadarola appeared before the Senate Agreements Commission to defend their candidacies for the Sala I of the Federal Chamber in Buenos Aires. Proposed by the executive branch, these appointments are considered highly significant as the court handles sensitive political cases, including investigations into ANDIS, the $LIBRA cryptocurrency, and allegations regarding Manuel Adorni.

The hearing proceeded without major opposition from the Kirchnerist bloc, who boycotted the session to protest the commission's composition. Only members of the Convicción Federal party were present from the Peronist side. Bertuzzi, who has served in the Federal Judiciary for 37 years, emphasized his extensive experience in complex federal crimes and organized crime.
