Argentina advances rural bridge rebuild and third road projects

The municipality of General Viamonte in Buenos Aires Province began rebuilding the collapsed San Emilio Sur bridge with concrete tubes supplied by the provincial hydraulic authority, aiming to restore a key transport link for agricultural producers after a 14‑month disruption.

In Santa Fe Province, the provincial government reported a 15 % overall completion of the new third road linking Reconquista and Avellaneda, including work on pavement, drainage, soil compaction and a 210‑metre bridge over the Arroyo El Rey. The project, budgeted at over 18 billion pesos, will feature a 7.30 m‑wide carriageway, bike lane, pedestrian path and two roundabouts.
