Argentina starts major school renovation projects in Entre Ríos and Olavarría

In the province of Entre Ríos, works began at the Victoriano Montes Primary School in Gualeguay to address basic service deficiencies. The provincial Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure is spending 35 million pesos on a 60‑day overhaul that will install a new water‑storage and pumping system, connect the building to natural gas, and upgrade electrical, sanitary, and drainage facilities, benefiting roughly 500 students and staff.

In Olavarría, Buenos Aires Province, a public tender was launched for a 392.81 million‑peso project to refurbish the joint Primary School No. 52 and Secondary School No. 14. The plan includes a new multi‑purpose hall, a fully equipped cafeteria, expanded classrooms, and updated restrooms, with construction slated for 300 days while classes continue under temporary safety barriers. The upgrades aim to improve conditions for more than 200 enrolled students.
