Argentina and Chile host community fitness events promoting health and solidarity

In Argentina's Tierra del Fuego province, a solidarity Zumba and Body Combat night was organized by FORJA, the provincial government and gym Fit Fusion on June 20 at Gimnasio María Auxiliadora. Participants brought non‑perishable food items for donation; the event aimed to celebrate the province’s anniversary, promote an active lifestyle and collect food for those in need.

In Chile’s coastal commune of Zapallar, the municipal government held its annual Reactívate ceremony, recognizing more than 50 senior residents who used the Reactívate platform to log walking distances and partake in adapted Zumba sessions. The event highlighted active aging, community bonding and the commune’s status as one of eight in the country with the program.
