Argentina and Ecuador sign automotive trade agreement
The Association of Automobile Factories (ADEFA) has celebrated the signing of a new commercial agreement with Ecuador focused on the automotive sector. This agreement is an extension of the ACE-59 framework and was developed through collaboration with the Argentine government, specifically the Ministry of Economy, the Secretariat of Industry, and the Foreign Ministry.
The deal aims to strengthen the presence of the Argentine automotive industry in regional markets by improving access conditions for vehicle and autopart exports. Additionally, the agreement facilitates productive integration by allowing the Ecuadorian industry to enter global supply chains for autoparts, serving both Argentine terminals and the local Ecuadorian replacement market.
