Argentina and Mexico Expand School Health Programs for Adolescents
The Ministry of Health of Argentina’s Entre Ríos province is expanding its Integrated School Health Advisories (ASIE), placing multidisciplinary health teams in more schools to provide listening spaces, guidance, and comprehensive care for teenagers’ physical, mental, emotional and social well‑being.
In Mexico’s state of Querétaro, the Secretary of Health (SESA) has launched workshops titled “Healthy Skills for Preventing School Violence” at high schools and universities. The sessions aim to strengthen personal and social capacities of adolescents and young adults, promoting emotional health, respectful coexistence and non‑violent conflict resolution in line with World Health Organization recommendations and the United Nations 2030 Agenda goals.
