Argentina and Mexico inaugurate new sports facilities

In the Argentine town of Centenario, provincial authorities and the Fundación Stábile opened the Instituto Movente, a multi‑purpose sports, education and social centre built with a 50 million‑peso provincial investment. The institute includes a modern sports venue, a cognitive development laboratory and accommodation for athletes and delegations.

In Moroleón, Guanajuato, Mexico, the mayor Alma Denisse Sánchez Barragán inaugurated two new football pitches funded by the federal Programa Nacional de Intervención y Modernización de Infraestructura Deportiva, part of a 60 million‑peso effort to build and rehabilitate sports fields across the state.

Both projects aim to expand community access to sport, promote health and social cohesion, and were highlighted by local officials as models of public‑private cooperation.
