Argentina and Mexico Municipalities Deliver Property Titles to Hundreds of Families

In the municipality of Malvinas Argentinas, Argentina, mayor Leo Nardini presided over a ceremony handing property deeds to 41 families under the national Law 24.374 (the "Ley Pierri") that guarantees legal housing ownership. Nardini said, “Seguimos en un camino que arrancamos hace mucho tiempo…”.

In Cajeme, Sonora, Mexico, municipal president Claudia Santacruz Avilés delivered deeds to 12 families at the local police station, bringing the total number of households benefiting from the regularisation program to roughly 700. Santacruz Avilés emphasized, “Cada una de las escrituras que entregamos representa tranquilidad, seguridad y un futuro con mayor certeza para una familia”. Both initiatives aim to provide legal security and stability for low‑income homeowners.
