Argentina and Paraguay strengthen cross‑border justice cooperation in Formosa
Judges and judicial officials from Argentina and Paraguay met in Formosa to enhance coordination between their Justice of Peace courts. The bilateral forum focused on streamlining travel authorisations, judicial notifications and other procedures that affect daily life in the frontier region. Participants discussed existing difficulties, examined the legal framework and proposed permanent channels to reduce administrative delays and improve legal certainty for residents of the border area.
The meeting, opened by Argentine Justice of Peace coordinator Guillermo Horacio Alucín, highlighted the importance of faster, safer responses to cases involving citizens who live, work or have family ties across the Argentina‑Paraguay border.
