Argentina and Peru Launch New Scholarship Enrollment Windows

Argentina’s Progresar scholarship program announced a second 2026 enrollment period. Applications for the compulsory‑education completion line run from 10 August to 4 September, while the higher‑education and nursing lines are open from 18 August to 11 September. The initiative, managed by the Ministry of Education’s Secretariat of Human Capital, aims to keep young people in school and offers a monthly stipend of 35,000 Argentine pesos to eligible participants.

Peru’s Beca 18 scholarship opened its fourth round of applications on 31 July, remaining open until 9 August 2026. The round adds 2,000 new vacancies, bringing the total offered this year to over 7,000. The scholarships, funded by the National Program of Scholarships and Educational Credit (Pronabec) under the Ministry of Education, cover tuition, fees, accommodation, meals, transport and other study‑related costs for selected students pursuing university or technical studies.
