Argentina announces new vocational and community training programs
In Argentina, new educational and vocational opportunities have been announced for different demographics. In Comodoro Rivadavia, the Chubut Police Agency is opening registrations for a Basic Course for Private Security Guards. Starting September 7, the seven-week in-person program will run during evening hours. Applicants must be over 18, have completed secondary school, and provide criminal record certificates and physical/psychological fitness documentation.
Meanwhile, in Ituzaingó, the Centro Regional Universitario Ituzaingó (CRUI) is offering free workshops for senior citizens. This initiative is a collaboration between the local municipality, the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza, and PAMI. The program includes both in-person and virtual courses covering topics such as digital inclusion, cognitive stimulation, financial education, and art therapy, aiming to promote active lifestyles among older adults.
