Diego Masaragian appointed Argentina's National Secretary of Disability
The Argentine government has appointed Dr. Diego Masaragian as the new National Secretary of Disability. He replaces Pablo Di Liscia, who stepped down following a traffic accident in late September.
Masaragian previously served as the National Administrator of Health Establishments (ANES), where he managed several major national hospitals, including Hospital Posadas and Hospital Laura Bonaparte. His new mandate, communicated by the Ministry of Health, focuses on ensuring administrative continuity and deepening the optimization of the sector.
Key priorities for the new administration include strengthening internal control mechanisms, continuing administrative audits to ensure efficient resource management, and improving access to essential benefits for people with disabilities. The appointment follows a brief interim period led by Rodrigo Sbarra, the Secretary of Administrative Management at the Ministry of Health.
