The Argentine rugby federation has appointed Shaun Edwards as the new defense coach for the national team. Edwards, a highly decorated coach with significant success in the Six Nations with both Wales and France, has signed a deal that runs until the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

In addition to Edwards, the federation has brought back Mario Ledesma to serve as the forwards coach. Ledesma previously held the position of head coach for the Pumas between 2018 and 2022. He succeeds Andres Bordoy, whose departure was announced in late September.

The coaching staff will continue to be led by Felipe Contepomi, supported by Kendrick Lynn and Juan Ma.
