Argentina arrests men in Mendoza sexual abuse case and Salta arson-related domestic violence
In Mendoza Province, police detained a man and his two sons after an investigation uncovered repeated intrafamilial sexual abuse. Prosecutors presented DNA evidence linking one of the brothers to a ten‑year‑old child born from the assaults. The case is being handled by the San Martín Fiscal Unit under Judge Federico Bergamin.
In the Salta region, a former partner was charged with multiple offenses after allegedly threatening, assaulting, and raping his ex‑partner and later setting fire to her home. The suspect was held pending further investigation by the Tartagal Fiscal Office, which cited co‑ercion, aggravated injuries, sexual assault and arson as the alleged crimes.
