Argentina basketball qualifiers moved to Zárate

The Argentine Basketball Confederation (CAB) has announced that the men's national team will play its upcoming FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifying matches in Zárate at the Espacio DAM. The matches were originally scheduled to take place in Mar del Plata, but the venue was changed due to logistical reasons intended to optimize the team's preparation and travel arrangements.

Argentina is set to face Bahamas on Thursday, November 26, and Canada on Sunday, November 29. These games are part of the fifth qualifying window for the 2027 tournament in Qatar. Currently, Argentina holds a record of six wins and two losses, placing them among the top contenders in Group F alongside undefeated Canada and Uruguay.

Tickets for both matches are now available for purchase through the Básquet ID application, with options for individual tickets or passes for both game days.
