Argentina basketball team begins training for FIBA Qualifiers

The Argentina men's national basketball team has begun training in Buenos Aires for the fourth window of the FIBA Qatar 2027 World Cup Qualifiers. Led by coach Pablo Prigioni, the team is working with a preliminary roster of 24 players.

Argentina's upcoming schedule includes a home game against Puerto Rico on Thursday, August 27, at the Polideportivo Islas Malvinas in Mar del Plata. Following this, the team will travel to Quebec to face Canada on Monday, August 31.

The 24-player preselection features a mix of international experience and emerging talent, including players such as Facundo Campazzo, Gabriel Deck, and Nicolás Laprovittola. A final roster will be selected from this group to continue the qualification process.
