Argentina currency markets show fluctuations in dollar and euro rates

The Argentine foreign exchange market is experiencing fluctuations across various currency channels. The wholesale dollar has seen recent movements, reaching levels around $1,560, while short-term interest rates have declined, impacting the returns on money market funds and digital wallet balances.

In the parallel market, the blue dollar is trading at approximately $1,525 for purchase and $1,545 for sale. Financial exchange rates include the MEP dollar at roughly $1,528 and the Contado con Liquidación (CCL) at approximately $1,568 to $1,591. The official rate at Banco Nación is reported near $1,530 for sale.

Regarding the Euro, the blue rate is positioned at $1,799.75 for purchase and $1,838.75 for sale, while the official Euro rate at Banco Nación stands at $1,700 for purchase and $1,800 for sale. The card dollar (dólar tarjeta) for foreign consumption is priced at approximately $1,989.
