Argentina bolsters regional health services with new leadership and digital X‑ray equipment
The Ministry of Health appointed Lic. Paola Sosa as head of Zone Sanitaria VI in La Ríoja, while Dr. Daniel López took over as director of Hospital Luis Pasteur. The ceremony included the delivery of computer equipment, blood‑pressure monitors and a quartz heater. Minister Juan Carlos Vergara said, "Esta nueva conducción sanitaria tiene un gran desafío por delante y necesitamos de su compromiso, experiencia, capacidad profesional y vocación de servicio para seguir fortaleciendo la atención de la salud".
In Santa Sylvina, Chaco, Governor Leandro Zdero inaugurated a modern digital X‑ray system for Hospital "Dr. Moreno Díaz Setuvi", acquired through the FonPlata agreement with an investment of $60,986,500. Zdero noted, "Estamos avanzando en cada rincón del Chaco con más equipamiento y más tecnología para nuestros hospitales". The new equipment is expected to improve diagnostic speed, quality and access for patients from the town and surrounding rural areas.
