Argentina celebrates Retiree Month with regional activities

Various regional entities in Argentina are holding events and programs to commemorate Retiree Month and Retiree Day.

In Jujuy, the provincial government, through CAFFIPPS and the Casa del Jubilado, has organized a month-long agenda of recreational and cultural activities throughout September. The program includes dance performances, art exhibitions, a spring parade, and a theater showcase intended to provide social engagement and support for senior citizens.

In Chubut, the Instituto de Seguridad Social y Seguros (ISSyS) is celebrating Retiree Day by hosting a raffle for retirees and pensioners. Participants can enter via the organization's digital self-management system to win stays at ISSyS tourist complexes. The raffle commemorates the 1904 enactment of Law No. 4,349, which established the first national retirement regulations in the country.
