Argentina civil defense and firefighters train educators and community staff in first aid
The Civil Defense of Córdoba launched a program to train educators and non‑teaching staff in municipal schools on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the Heimlich maneuver, and use of automated external defibrillators. The first session was held at the Julio González School in General Arenales, and the schedule plans visits to all 38 local schools through October.
Meanwhile, volunteer firefighters from Rufino provided a similar first‑aid and CPR workshop for personnel and attendees of the Santa Francisca Day Center and Home. Both initiatives aim to improve emergency response skills among educators and community care facilities in Argentina.
