Regional governments launch youth programs and community events

Various regional governments and organizations across Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico are implementing programs and hosting events focused on children and youth.

In Argentina, Lanús Gobierno launched the Local Multi-agency Table of the Entramados program to prevent juvenile crime through social support, healthcare, and education. In Goya, the municipality announced large-scale Children's Day celebrations at Costa Surubí, featuring musical performances and community activities. Other regional efforts include educational road safety workshops in Concepción del Uruguay, a bicycle distribution project for students in Rocha, Uruguay, and community celebrations in Bell Ville and the Malvinas Argentinas neighborhood.

In Uruguay, INAU Cerro Largo announced winners of the 15th FINNA Funds, which finance youth-led community projects. Additionally, Modo Minas in Lavalleja held recreational activities to support local commerce and families. In Mexico, the municipality of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez organized the Soledad Run Fest 2026, a 5K race designed to promote sports and healthy coexistence.
