Argentina country risk rises above 520 points as assets decline

Argentina's country risk indicator has risen above 520 points, reaching levels between 524 and 525 basis points. This increase reflects an adverse global financial context affecting the issuance of dollar-denominated bonds in the local market.

In Wall Street, Argentine American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) have seen significant declines, with some falling as much as 7%. Central Puerto has been among the most affected assets. Local equity markets also reported losses, with the Merval index retreating approximately 0.9% to 1%.

The downturn in sovereign debt and emerging market assets follows the Federal Reserve's decision to raise interest rates. While local bonds under domestic legislation have seen declines of up to 1.2%, the broader market sentiment remains challenged by these global shifts.
