Argentina domestic workers' hourly wages set for August 2026 remain unchanged
Domestic workers in Argentina will receive the same hourly rates in August 2026 as they did in July, because the Commission Nacional de Trabajo en Casas Particulares has not issued a new collective bargaining agreement. The last update, Resolution No. 4/2026, applied a 1.4% increase to July salaries and established the current pay scales.
For August, the minimum hourly wages are: - General tasks with travel: AR$ 3,733.72; without travel: AR$ 3,996.45 - Supervisors with travel: AR$ 4,438.77; without travel: AR$ 4,829.13 - Specific‑task staff with travel: AR$ 4,223.25; without travel: AR$ 4,597.18 - Care and assistance roles: AR$ 3,996.45 (with travel) or AR$ 4,435.86 (without travel).
Employers must continue to comply with Law 26.844, which requires registration of the employment relationship, payment of social security contributions, ART insurance, issuance of pay slips, and observance of vacation, bonus and other labor rights.
The wage tables will stay in force until a new resolution is published.
