Argentina domestic workers to receive wage increases in October and November

The National Commission for Domestic Work (CNTCP) has updated the mandatory minimum wage scales for domestic workers in Argentina for the final months of 2026.

In October 2026, wages saw a 1.7% increase alongside the integration of a portion of a non-remunerative bonus established in August. For general tasks, hourly rates were set at $4,064.08 with stay-out and $4,337.53 with live-in arrangements. Other categories, such as supervisors and specialized personnel, received varying adjustments based on their specific roles.

For November 2026, a 1.6% increase will be applied across all categories. This update also marks the final stage of integrating the non-remunerative sum, with the remaining 25% being incorporated into the basic salary. Under this new scale, general task workers will earn a minimum of $4,170.52 per hour with stay-out and $4,571.91 with live-in arrangements. Monthly minimums for this category are established at $511,639.37 for stay-out and $578,062.16 for live-in workers.
