Argentina educational authorities distribute books and technology

Educational authorities in Argentina are implementing significant resource distribution and curricular reforms. In Córdoba, the Ministry of Education is distributing 1,400,000 books to public primary school students. Under a one-to-one model, each student receives three books in Language, Mathematics, and Literature to use at home and school. Additionally, 25,000 books have been allocated to secondary schools and pedagogical libraries.

In the Punilla department of Córdoba, the TecnoPresente program delivered 112 netbooks to various educational institutions to enhance digital learning. Minister of Education Horacio Ferreyra emphasized that these tools are intended to provide concrete opportunities for students to access knowledge.

In Neuquén, the provincial government is advancing a major educational overhaul. Through Plan Puel, the province is distributing 40,000 notebooks, tablets, and other technological resources. The region is also implementing 13 distinct secondary school curricular orientations, a process that included the creation of 23,000 teaching hours in 2024 to support the new curriculum.
