Argentina establishes July 2026 wage scales for commerce sector employees

The Argentine Federation of Commerce Employees and Services (FAECYS) and the sector’s business chambers have signed a new collective agreement that raises wages for commerce workers by 5% based on March 2026 figures. The agreement introduced incremental raises of 2% in April, 1.5% in May and June, and added a non‑remunerative fixed sum of 20,000 pesos, which will be absorbed into the basic salary starting in July.

From July 2026 the basic gross salaries for full‑time staff range from roughly 1.23 million pesos for entry‑level maestranza positions to about 3.22 million pesos for senior administrative roles. The scales apply to more than one million workers covered by CCT 130/75 and remain in force until March 2031, with periodic review clauses. The pact also confirms a solidary health contribution of 28,000 pesos for employees in Patagonia.
