Argentina's Finance and Treasury Secretariats Issue Joint Resolutions to Amend Bank Identifier and Extend Dollar Bond

The Argentine Secretariats of Finance and Treasury issued Joint Resolution 42/2026 correcting a filing error by replacing the reference to “Banco Santander S.A., New York Branch” with “Banco Santander S.A.”.

A separate Joint Resolution 43/26 extended the issuance of a non‑transferable U.S.‑dollar treasury letter, increasing its maturity to 30 June 2031. The amendment allows the government to settle 60 % of the interest on the July 2026 coupon of the previously issued dollar letter, covering about USD 37.1 million, and to refinance the remaining interest in cash. Both measures are part of the public credit operations authorized under Argentina’s fiscal law for 2026.
