Argentina expands electronic traffic enforcement in Paraná and Cañuelas

Authorities in Argentina are expanding electronic traffic enforcement measures in several regions. In Paraná, the city is adding 40 new electronic control points to monitor various infractions. These devices aim to detect red-light violations, speeding, illegal turns, and heavy vehicle circulation on unauthorized roads. Additionally, the system will monitor the use of mobile phones and failure to wear seatbelts to improve road safety.

In the province of Buenos Aires, the government has authorized the Municipality of Cañuelas to utilize traffic infraction equipment on provincial routes 6 and 215. A recent resolution has adjusted the speed limits at several radar locations. On Route 215, the limit was set to 70 km/h, while on Route 6, limits were increased to 100 km/h at certain points and maintained at 80 km/h at others. The equipment is operated by TN Group S.A.
