Argentina Expands Free Vaccination Services at Primary Health Centers in Nueve de Julio
The Argentine Ministry of Health is implementing the National Vaccination Calendar in every Primary Health Care Center (CAPS) across the urban and rural areas of the Nueve de Julio district. All vaccines listed in the calendar are provided free of charge, and residents can visit CAPS on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to check their immunization status, receive pending doses, or obtain age‑ and risk‑appropriate shots.
The offered vaccines include pentavalent, polio (IPV), conjugate pneumococcal, rotavirus, meningococcal, triple viral (MMR), diphtheria‑tetanus‑pertussis (both cellular and acellular), varicella, hepatitis A, and human papillomavirus, among others. The initiative aims to eliminate distance barriers and ensure equitable access to preventive health care throughout the district.
