Argentina expands primary‑care: new Luján first‑aid clinic opens, Villa Elisa services resume

The Ministry of Health, led by Minister Teresa Nigra, inaugurated the Los Pejes first‑aid clinic in Luján. The facility will operate Monday‑Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 starting 27 July, offering nursing care, wound treatment, vaccinations, medication administration, patient follow‑up and appointment coordination. The clinic, built by the municipal government, will be managed by the health ministry and staffed with nurses, health agents and administrative personnel.

In Villa Elisa, municipal authorities announced that regular primary‑care hours at the Centre for Primary Health Attention (CAPS) and the mobile health unit will resume on 20 July after the winter break. Services are provided at no cost and include clinical, nursing, paediatric, dental, psychological, gynecological, nutritional and physiotherapy care on a set schedule, with appointments arranged via WhatsApp.
