Argentina expands technical school facilities in Quilmes and Entre Ríos

Provincial deputy Mayra Mendoza and interim mayor Eva Mieri inaugurated the expansion of the Escuela de Educación Secundaria Técnica (EEST) Nº 1 “Pabellón Nacional Argentino” in Quilmes Oeste. The project added new administrative offices, classrooms and a multipurpose hall with a kitchen, aiming to improve conditions for the local educational community. School director Martín Guillén described the addition as a real investment in education, while provincial education director Flavia Terigi highlighted the importance of technical‑professional training for regional development.

In the province of Entre Ríos, the government allocated 29 million pesos to carry out a comprehensive renovation of the Escuela Técnica Nº 35 General José de San Martín in Crespo. The works, overseen by Minister Hernán Jacob, will address structural issues, replace water tanks, waterproof roofs, upgrade sanitation, improve drainage for the multipurpose hall and modernize the electrical system, benefitting more than 600 secondary and vocational students.
